Really exciting things happening here. We're at the family literacy center down here at Bright Star Community Outreach in Bronzeville.

This is what you have done. Those are the hundreds of books you donated. Here is the furniture that you assembled. Here are the bookshelves that you helped purchase. Here's the paint that you painted.

Let's also give it up for Preston. Preston has been hard at work, taking it to the next level, doing the trim and the sanding and the doors and all this stuff that we can't do. Thank you, Preston!

This coming Sunday, we're going to have our final volunteer push 9:00 AM. We're going to put the books on the shelves, clean it up, set it up. Then, 1:00 PM, we're going to do a ribbon cutting ceremony.

If you've been involved in this project, if you've donated, contributed, volunteered, built, schlepped. A lot of schlepping went into this. I hope you can come.

We'll also be live streaming it because we really want to celebrate the accomplishment of this project together with Bright Star as it's come along so beautifully.

So many children and so many families are going to benefit from these literacy resources.

Comcast is going to be donating laptops. There's going to be digital literacy resources in here. Bright Star is going to run fantastic programs out of here to benefit the community. And it's all because of you.
