
Rabbi Ari Hart
Co-Founder and CEO
Rabbi Ari Hart serves as the spiritual leader of Skokie Valley Agudath Jacob, a growing, welcoming orthodox synagogue in Skokie, Illinois. He previously served as Associate Rabbi at the Hebrew Institute of Riverdale and Director of Admissions at Yeshivat Chovevei Torah. Ari also co-founded Uri L’Tzedek (Awaken to Justice): The Orthodox Social Justice Movement, the Jewish Muslim Volunteer Alliance, and was the founding director of Or Tzedek, the teen institute for Jewish social justice.

Rabbi Hody Nemes
Program Director
Rabbi Hody Nemes is Program Director of Solu. A native Midwesterner, Hody received ordination from Yeshivat Chovevei Torah and graduated Yale University. Hody co-founded Jewish Climate Action Network NYC, a grassroots climate advocacy group. He previously served as a journalist for the Forward and Manager of Greening at Hazon, where he helped develop a Jewish "Seal of Sustainability.” He is passionate about Solu’s commitment to knowing our neighbors and lending them a helping hand.
Tamara Ashman
Program Associate
Tamara has spent her diverse career helping people and connecting with others. Through her work in fundraising and event planning at AIPAC and many years in Human Resources at a real estate management company, she brings a unique perspective on supporting others and fostering strong relationships. Tamara received her Master’s from Wurzweiler School of Social Work and a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts from NYU. 
Eliyahu Rosen
Co-Founder
During the day, Eliyahu works at a technology startup building software to power the Internet of Things. Outside of work he engages with non-profits and community organizations, and he really loves bringing new initiatives to life. The most exciting thing to him about Solu's mission is the way it brings together people from many different communities, and really challenges them to grow in a fun, thoughtful, and grass-roots way.
